Using Fixsen et al’s (2010) Implementation Science Model in conjunction with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) (2007) Replicating Effective Programs (REP) framework, the Virginia Commonwealth University’s (VCU) Rehabilitation Research and Training Center (RRTC) on Employment of Transition-Age Youth study team describes the development, implementation and ongoing evaluation of an online professional development course. The course is designed for those who assist students with disabilities to transition from higher education to the workforce. In this poster presentation, the team will describe their processes and evaluation activities during the first three stages of the Implementation Science Model (Exploration, Installation and Initial Implementation), as well as the first three components of the REP framework (Pre-Conditions, Pre-Implementation, and Implementation).
